What areas do you cover?
We cover a wide area across the South West and into South Wales from our two depots in Barnstaple and Bristol. Together, they enable us to serve customers across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, as well as Bristol, Monmouthshire and the surrounding areas. The quickest way to check whether we cover your address is to enter your postcode, and we’ll tell you straight away.
Is loft boarding suitable for newer and new-build homes?
Boarding your loft does not void your NHBC warranty. Our raised boarding system sits above the insulation, so your warranty stays intact. For a post-1999 home it is the right way to get the storage you are missing without touching anything you are not allowed to.
Can the boarded loft hold heavy items?
Yes. The LoftZone system is raised and properly supported, built to hold what a household actually stores, the suitcases, the Christmas boxes, the things you want out of the way but not gone. If you are planning to store anything unusually heavy, tell us at the health check, and we will build for it.
What if you damage my ceiling or my home?
We carry £5 million of public liability insurance. In fact we have never had to use it, but if we ever did damage something in your home, we would put it right, no fuss. That is the point of having a proper company do the work, rather than some fella with a ladder.
How long does the check take?
About thirty minutes. In that time we check all seventeen points, and before we leave we talk you through what we found and what we would honestly do next. No mess, and no one signs anything on the day.
What is the lead time to get my loft boarded?
The lead time can be as little as 2-3 weeks with British Lofts, which means that once you're ready, you can have a ready-to-use loft space sooner than most people expect.
